2023-04-07 Markets

 A relatively muted and shortened session, with equities under pressure and bonds holding their own.
     Emerging market equities were the worst performers; they continue a trend begun at the end of January, since when they have lost -7.5%
     Inflation figures continue to come down, though perhaps not as fast as many would prefer. The coming week may bring more preoccupations on this front as both consumer and producer price indices will be updated in the US.
